Guidelines for abstract submissions

ü Abstract must be sent before 15th March 2012 to anoaamalaysia@yahoo.com. Abstracts sent by this due date are entitled for early bird fees.

ü These abstract will be assessed and those qualified will be noted via email to authors for poster/free paper submission.

ü Accepted abstract will be selected for oral or poster presentation and will be published and distributed at the conference.

ü The abstract must be written in English, in Times New Roman size 11 font, maximum of 250 words, and contain a brief clear statement of conclusion. The name of the presenting author must appear first in the list of authors. Do not include tables, photo or references in abstracts.

Review, acceptance and notifications

ü Receipts of submission will be acknowledged via email

ü The Scientific Committee will evaluate all abstract submissions based on

quality, clarity and relevance to our audience.

ü Presenting authors will receive an email notification of abstract acceptance

and details of presentation in end of March 2012

ü All presenting authors must register for the conference upon acceptance of

their abstract(s).



Poster Presentation

ü Posters preferably be structured with subheadings of: Introduction, Methods,

Results, Discussion, Conclusion & References

ü Only one table is allowed

ü Maximum of two photographs

ü Only up to five references quoted

ü Poster dimension can be maximum of 90cm x 120cm in vertical format

ü Exact poster sessions will be included in the conference book.

ü Poster presenters should use Velcro tapes to fix the poster onto the poster board.

The tapes will be provided at the conference.

ü Please note that the organisers will not be liable for any loss or damage to the

posters.

ü Authors should acknowledge any conflicts of interest/source of funding in the

oral or poster presentations.
